The Science of Anthropologie

If the world was a big classroom, then I would have flunked Anthropologie.

Because I just keep on coming back and can never seem to graduate from this store! They always have the prettiest dresses, picked ever so carefully and with loving thought! I mean, these aren't the kind of dresses you would see just about anywhere! There's nothing commercial about Anthropologie for me because every piece in this store is special and unique in its own way...

Now, time to wait for the Anthropologie sale! Thank goodness for lessons on accounting and financial planning. I very much understand the importance of cashflows and budgeting! Hahaha!

Hi Belle! The store I went to in Connecticut had a sale section! Marimekko for Anthropologie skirts were selling for less than $40! Let's wait for this season's dresses to go on sale though! I liked their selection very much!

Oh! But the website has some stuff up for sale na pala! You can check that out first! But, no dresses yet...I'll let you know if I hear of any news!

Oo nga no Chico! That's it! That's what makes the dresses unique and special. I couldn't point my finger at why but it just looked fabulous to me, considering that the cuts are actually so simple. I liked the prints from the start, but now that you've mentioned it, its in how they matched it that took it to a whole new level. Details make the difference nga!

I think our eyes are hungry for details because everything is so mass-marketed now. Gone are the days of personalized tailoring of clothes like in the last mid-century. The clothes actually fit people so they all look good on photographs. And people invested in quality, timeless pieces and none of that quick fashion remedy pieces found in places like Forever 21, etc...
