Quality Over Quantity

If you could only buy 5 bags in your lifetime, what would you choose?

I would do that Frenchwoman thing and buy the best that my money can afford, and choose the most classic designs that will guarantee me style to last beyond my years:

1. The Hermes Birkin in a neutral shade (and in a bigger size than this photo!):

As an introduction, this is the photo (Grace Kelly hiding her pregnant belly) that launched the succeeding bag to its iconic status...

2. The Hermes Kelly bag:
Nice to have it in red if you don't care for a safe shade!
3. Yeah, come to think of it, just get the rouge Kelly and get the Chanel 2.55 in black:
4. Then make sure you have the Jackie hobo from Gucci because this is really timeless
5. Now when it comes to roomy bags, its really a toss up between the Louis Vuitton Speedy 30:
and this Goyard St. Louis:

Hi Mrs. T! Thanks thanks! I learned all of that from you! That Hermes, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Goyard are investments! Teehee =)

The Croisiere and Jeanne styles are also to die for! :)

Hi Giancinephile! Ooohhh! I like the Croiserie too! The silver is so pretty! But darn! So expensive! =)

But it doesn't hurt to go to the store and touch the merchandise and imagine it's yours even for just a few minutes! :)

Too bad we don't have any Goyard, Chanel, or Hermes stores here in Manila. We always have the inevitable choice of flying to our neighbours.
