Transitioning to Fall

With Fall 08/09 making its presence felt in the fashion glossies, I thought I'd share with you something I'm oddly liking...

Well, just the baggy vintage shorts really. Don't care much for the ripped tights and the fuzzy vest...

Alexander Wang and Erin Wasson just made grunge look so good again! But darn, these shorts cost $290. Pre-order too at Satine Boutique!

Time for some DIY!

i love alexander wang! i actually was a dresser for this particular show. i think you were in the philippines, but his sample sale just passed. you should definitely go to the next sale in december. it will be all of his fall 08 stuff. there's always a good selection and great prices. this past sale i bought two dresses from the spring 08 runway for only 100 dollars each!!

DIY would be fantastic! go for it!

Oooohhh rz! A dresser for this show? Can I sign up to be a dresser too for the next Fashion Week?! I'd do it in a heart beat! Tell me all about it! Oh, and great deal you got there on the sample sale! So lucky!!!

sigh... i'm not sure about this fashion week. he's really gotten huge and might depend more on his interns. my friend was in charge of fashion merchandising for awang and she got me in. sadly, she moved back to taiwan. another tip though is that i take continuing ed classes at FIT and befriended a teacher there. if you take a continuing ed class at FIT in sewing styling etc I could possibly get you as a dresser for several shows during fashion week (malandrino, jason wu, preen, twinkle etc) i'll email you soon about this
