Blair Ends Up in NYU + Gossip Girl Sites Tour

New episodes start tonight! Yay! The first of five episodes to close out season 2 is finally here!

But more than that, there are hotter things to come! The Gossip is that when Gossip Girl airs it's new season this Fall of 2009, these precocious kids will be starting college, with Blair going to (gasp!) NYU! No Ivy League institution for poor little Miss Waldorf?!

Rumor or for reel? Well, we got it straight from the source!

SPOILER ALERT: Ok, I just finished watching the episode and it looks like Blate will be staying in the city! With Nate going to Columbia for sure and Blair getting an interview at NYU thanks to Cyrus!

Incidentally, remember when Grace and I went on our very own Gossip Girl tour a couple of months back? We had a lot of fun reminiscing about the scenes as we went from spot to spot taking photos for her article for The Radar. This really is a must-do for die hard fans like us! But it took us practically a whole day to do this. Then again we squeezed in a lot of shopping, eating and gossiping in between, heehee!

So, if you're a major Gossip Girl fan, you're in New York for a quick visit, and you don't have a lot of free time on your hands, don't worry. You can still go out on your own Gossip Girl adventure! But prepare to be mortified! This is going to be quite touristy, with you being "spotted" joining a tour group and riding a tour bus. Then again, campy can be fun!

It may have taken the operator of the Sex & City Tour a while to catch up and get in on the craze, but now they're offering The Gossip Girl Tour! Where you can "Experience a day in the life of Manhattan's Elite on the tour of Gossip Girl Sites. More than 40 locations that have been used in filming the hit TV show."

The tour includes:
- A visit to the New York Palace Hotel, home to the Bass and Van der Woodson families where so many of the scenes from Gossip Girl take place.
- Being "spotted" by that most ubiquitous blogger at the Constance Billard School for Girls/St. Jude School for Boys.
- Seeing the Upper East Side mansion that was the site of the Bass/Van der Woodsen wedding.
- Seeing the lavish Fifth Avenue building that Blair Waldorf calls home.
- Shopping at Henri Bendel where Blair and Serena shop.
- Going past the restaurant where Dan and Serena have their second date.

How Long: Approximately 3.5 hours
How Much: $38 (+ $2 ticket fee)
