Mich Dulce at Theodore's

I'm really impressed. I've never seen a local designer come out with a proper collection like Mich Dulce's complete with a lookbook and all that jazz. Then again, she studied and interned with some of fashion's greatest in London so she has the business and marketing side down pat to complement her creativity and technical skill. I'm loving everything here - artistic but not too avant garde that it is still wearable. And I am all about wearability, which looks like something we are going to see more of these days during these times! Cathy Horyn agrees with me on this front, as she writes in her blog:

"I hesitate to say what the industry needs right now. It needs so many things. It needs a greater commitment to craft, I’ll start there. It needs more designers who have something people really want, and less of the other kind of designer."
