33 Weeks: Hebigat at Hershey!

Last weekend, our little threesome (Dear Hubby, Berry and myself) went on a road trip to Hershey, PA with our friends Eric, Me-an and Dominic. At 33 weeks and with Berry getting heavier by the week, I can't travel too far, but the urge to go out for a change in scenery has been compelling, so off to Hershey we went.

Hershey, PA is dubbed "The sweetest place on earth" for good reason. Because it's where the founder of Hershey's Chocolates, Milton S. Hershey decided to build the perfect town for his employees to live, work and play! With the largest chocolate factory in the world, plus an amusement park and lots of activities to enjoy, plus the fact that at every turn, we got free chocolates galore (at the hotel, after the Factory Experience at Chocolate World, throughout our Trolley Tour) it is a sweet place indeed. By the end of our first day at Hershey, I was so sick of chocolate, I couldn't eat a teeny tiny Kiss, let alone bear looking at another piece! There was so much chocolate here, when we were leaving our hotel to go out, Me-an and I saw several pieces of Hershey's Miniature Dark Chocolate on the floor, which probably fell out of someone's candy bag. Me-an said "See, even the grounds here are littered with chocolate!" Hahaha!

At Chocolate World, you'll find rows upon rows of Hershey's chocolates, these are just the tip of the iceberg really...

And here I am after eating lots of chocolates, oh, I mean, at 33 Weeks! Heehee!

At Hershey, we also visited one of my best friends from high school, Xsa, who is a doctor at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center...

She brought us to Hershey Pantry for breakfast!!! Berry and I had hot chocolate and pancakes...

While Dear Hubby had a mushroom and Swiss cheese omelette!

Thank goodness Xsa was there to bring us to the local joints for dinner and breakfast. Otherwise, we would have ended up in some chain like Friendlys haha! Our dining experience at Hershey was just so memorable! Everything we had was super good!

Soon after, we headed to Bird-in-Hand, PA to go on a tour of the Amish Experience! Here's a farm house owned by an Amish family (take note, while it seems like a normal house on the outside, they do not use electricity, and everything is gas powered)...

And this is how they get around town, on a horse drawn buggy...

We had quite an interesting weekend! We can't wait to travel when Berry can actually see the sights with us!

Loved the photo of you in front of the house. Blue and yellow and green. Plus your pretty-preggy-glow! :)

Oh, advanced happy mother's day, new mom!

Is it weird that i've been anxious and waiting for when you'll be posting photos of Berry? 6-7 weeks more? Heehee!

Heehee, thanks KayAnne! Yeah, 6 to 7 weeks to go! It's not weird, I feel that way! We can't wait to meet her too! Although I tell Berry there's no rush since she's only turning 34 weeks this weekend! Heehee!
