My friends and I like to hit the beach :-) I feel extremely lucky to live in the Philippines where there are sunshiny days for more than half the year :-) With just a bit of money, sunshine, the sand, and the sea, it's easy to have a good time with friends.

One of these days I intend to visit the BellaRocca Island Resort and Spa in Marinduque. I can't stop thinking about the place since I first saw the pictures of the island and the resort online.

I hope I can take the trip before July 15, before the Citibank World Privileges promo ends :-)

My roomates from college and I like to travel. By travel, i mean, as simple as road trips out to no where. We used to study in Los Banos and city slickers like us find joy in simple sightseeing. We just have one staple when we go, Sara Bareilles and Colbie Caillat songs the whole way and we sing our hearts out like you would never believe. We get to talk about everything in these little trips of ours and at one point we've even decided SATC's first movie was entirely based on us. hahaha. So when news broke on a new movie, we already said we'd take time to see it:D

my friends & i really hit the fun when we travel. we've been to hong kong, thailand, & singapore. we're planning a japan adventure soon. but one adventure that was really funny was when we went to baguio.

we are 4-5 in the group. two from the group are really tight when it comes to money. one of them is yours truly. how tight are the 2 of us? here is the story.

before doing getaways, we would try to plan it ahead. the group decided to do a one ride adventure. we used our friend's white nissan patrol. the problem was we might not fit in unless one of us would sit at the back where the prada bags, goyard totes, louis vuitton keepalls & luggages will be placed. guess who did the sacrifice? yes, me! i sat at the back from ortigas to baguio. good thing i had my 32gb ipod then. with 2 movies finished, i realized one thing. it was unfair if i would be paying for the total amount we agreed upon for the transpo. i tried to move the louis vuitton keepall a bit to the right side to make a hole or space big enough to get my friends' attention. i objected about the transpo deal. i argued for a 50% deduction for my share. i got it and that moment really cemented my place as the most tight among the group when it comes to money. and everytime we go to dinner, they rarely forget to pick on me about being the most "kuripot".

Being friends with my girls for more than a decade, it’s difficult to choose one particular activity with them. We love to dine (from cheap to fine dining restos/revolving from distracting to quaint places), hit the spa (they even gave me a surprise spa shower party), be health buffs (err, more of ‘pretending’ by enrolling on a gym class), travel locally (international is yet to come) and, of course, shopping (that’s too easy)! All of us even gave birth on the same year (2009) with our first born child despite getting married on different years!

Regardless of what you do, where you go I guess it’s the company that really matters… and with my girlfriends the cliché TIME REALLY FLIES applies.

we love dining out. it gives us time to catch-up on things happening to each of us. recently, one of us was broken-hearted due to a relationship that ended. This meant more time for us to get-together to help our friend recover from the pain. I was so happy when I saw the trailer of SATC, since it reminds me of the friendship we have and it is an activity that will help our friend enjoy life and forget her pain. we're planning on watching the SATC this week after dinner. i hope we get to view the advance screening and enjoy the movie more.

cheers
