For the LRs, there are two styles out. First: a lace-up rubber rain bootie ($165) modeled after the Loeffler Randall June bootie, and the second is a knee-high rubber rain boot ($195) which is modeled after the popular Matilde, as per Fashionologie.
The girls behind Plueys Manila also have a new line out, called REDRAIN. If you're not into cutesy rain booties, and just want a solid, no nonsense rain boot, then this might just be the one for ya!
Comes in firetruck red and panther black:
Buy it online at Php 2,250 a pair, here!

The Plueys look exactly like the generic rain boots that can be found in wet markets and SM. I don't think it will be worth it to shell out Php2,250 for something that the traffic police and newspaper boys will also be wearing.
Sorry ha, I don't mean to be snarky, I'm just making an observation :(
Awww, you can never be snarky Jill, you apologized pa even if you made a point! =) I'm guessing the price is such, because the rubber used here is better and it won't crack or disintegrate right away? Looks wise though, yeah it could pass as a cheapo rainboot, until inspected up close.
Have you girls ever tried Hunter rubber boots? I have a pair and they are divine! It's a tall boot that reaches to below the knee, with a one inch heel and lug sole, and the silhouette is very slim. It goes for about 100 dollars, plus shipping.
