Anyhoo, while I was in Manila last month, I had the chance to check out my friend Rissa's baby - SM Fashion Forum! Finally saw for myself how nice their dresses are. My Mom, who is more of a Rustan's shopper, actually loved the dresses in Fashion Forum and she was impressed. Seriously, if you're planning to dress up for an upcoming wedding, for Chinese New Year or for Valentine's Day, you know where to go! Here are the ones that I want to personally add to my closet:
I love this red dress from BB Dakota! It's such a scene stealer. Rissa tried it on and it just looked so cute on her, all the girls in FF were looking at her. I want one too!
This dress in the middle...
Looks so good especially when worn. See it here on the mannequin? Now imagine, YOU wearing it.
I am feeling the Jackie O. vibe of this shift dress on the left from Max & Cleo. Such an elegant date dress. I want to whip up an occasion just so I can wear this. Seriously.
Oh and if you're feeling monochromatic, check out this vast array of party dresses in blacks, creams and black & whites:
If you're not looking for dresses now (although I'm telling you, it always pays to buy in advance, because just when you're looking for something to wear to an important gathering, that's when it seems you can't find anything) then check out these BCBGeneration bags on sale at 20% OFF:
Check out this shiny little thing that'll give any outfit a bit of an edge:
Marked down to Php 3,180 from Php 3,975.
I'm sure there are more bargains to unearth, so check out SM Fashion Forum at SM Makati and SM Megamall! There's always something new coming each month too. And if I hear one more complaint that you don't know where to get affordable party dresses, don't say I didn't tell you.
PS - I love it that Fashion Forum is also stocking Ali Ro (a contemporary label stocked by Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue in the US). Saw a Pucci-esque piece from Ali Ro, and I still can't forget about it. Zo tempted! Should I? Should I? Should I?
