bobble ain't no trouble

It's not what you think. These are not blobs with colorful innards. These are bobbles. As in, well, a bobble.

A bobble is a plastic bottle yes, but not the bad kind. bobble is free of BPA, Phthalates and PVC and its spout has a filter that can filter tap water equal to 300 single-serve bottles. Which means not having to buy 300 mineral/distilled water bottles. So not only do you get to save money, you also get to do your part in lessening your carbon footprint. Good stuff.

Now what when you are done refilling that bobble 300 times? Then you can always buy a new filter, in a different color each time if you'd like, so you can keep on reusing the bobble for as long as it can hold water, no pun intended.

According to the bobble website, "one estimate suggests that the world consumes more than 200 billion single-serve bottles of water per year." Just imagine the magnitude and scale of 200 billion plastic water bottles packed into a landfill.  That's not a pretty sight.

But water in a bobble? That's as stylish and sustainable as water can get.

In the Philippines, bobble is available at Aura Athletica, Numa, Planet Sports, PacSports and studios such as Bliss Yoga, Urban Ashram and Plana Forma. Outside of Metro Manila, find bobble at Red Dot Laoag, Le Kitsch Lifestyle Shop and Sole Patrol.
