Caramoan X6

For travelers looking for the next spot to visit, you might want to consider Caramoan Islands in Camarines Sur. Not only is it renowned for its beautiful beaches, lush forests and natural wonders, it has also become the place to go for water sports. It is also known as the setting for the French, Israel and Bulgarian versions of Survivor!

Last month, Governor Villafuerte and photographer Jun de Leon spearheaded the Caramoan X6 (Caramoan times six) Exhibit. Six of the Philippines' top photographers: Jake Versoza, Jo Ann Bitagcol, Sara Black, Paolo Pineda, Mark Nicdao and Jun de Leon trained their lenses on Caramoan and its people.

The exhibit was on display in Ayala Malls Greenbelt 3 from December 18 to 20 and will be in STI Fort Bonifacio.

Complementing the exhibit is the Caramoan X6 coffee table book, which complies all the featured photographs on display. The actual photographs were auctioned off – proceeds of which will benefit CamSur’s Educational Fund.
