The French Embassy and the Alliance Française and Bosendorfer are honoring Frederic Chopin, the great pianist and piano composer. A series of piano concerts and a full exhibit of Chopin’s life will highlight this bicentennial celebration in Manila.
Four big concerts by the biggest names in the industry, pianists Rudolf Golez (March 1), Dana Ciocarlie (from France) on March 19, Raul Sunico on March 24, Cristine Coyiuto on April 8, 2010 will present a night of showmanship playing Chopin’s works. Cecile Licad will also be participating in this concert, date to be announced. The concert will be held at Philam Life Auditorium at 8:00pm.
