The Performance Collection



The Speedo LZR Racer Inspired collection is for the swimming athlete, and is fully compliant with FINA 2010 regulations.

The LZR Racer inspired range for competitive swimming includes the Speedo LZR Racer Elite, the Speedo LZR Racer Pro and the Speedo LZR Racer Comp which will enable all swimmers to perform their best. The range was developed in the Speedo Aqualab® facility and embraces many of the groundbreaking technical features of the legendary Speedo LZR Racer suit that was created through consultation with more than 400 elite athletes. The new generation of advanced textile swimsuits offers a unique combination of highly technical fabrics, design and construction for a smoother shape, reduced drag and greater flexibility; all within FINA’s new rules for 2010.

Designed specifically for the Asian market, Speedo launches the Fastskin XT. Part of Speedo’s Fastskin collection, Fastskin XT features a more advanced compression fabric than the Fastskin II. With its striking look, swimmers will certainly stand out while attaining best times in their swim heats.

Made for swimmers who want their own piece of the Speedo LZR Racer suit’s cutting edge technology, the LZR Racer Inspired collection takes inspiration from the world renowned, championship winning swimsuit. Using the bold lines and distinctive panels that make the Speedo LZR Racer suit so recognisable, Speedo’s new performance range ensures swimmers will stand out from their competitors, with both its striking appearance on the poolside and its streamlined performance in the water. The range also incorporates the 100% chlorine–resistant Speedo Endurance+; a fabric which helps the swimwear retain its shape swim after swim and reduces the need for replacement.


Also included in the range are the most innovative goggles, the Aquasocket and Sidewinder, which were launched with the Speedo LZR Racer suit in 2008. Other exciting products in the collection are the Speedo LZR Racer Inspired swim caps, towels, bags and the exclusive Speedo LZR Racer Aquabeat® underwater MP3 player.

Originals Collection

Celebrating Speedo’s unique history and culture, the Originals collection mixes fashion and functionality. Incorporating the latest in sports technology, the range features statement swimsuits in bright, primary colours, fashionable bikinis and retro-inspired swimsuits in summery prints and contrasting colours while relaxed apparel includes soft cotton t-shirts and shorts.


For those who love a game of beach volleyball or other beach sports, the brand’s new range of Watershorts for this season features silicon dots on the side, making it easy to wipe hands clean and remove sand or sweat so you can play to the best of your ability. Laser cut back panels also provide drainage and ventilation, while drawstring waists, flat fronts and elasticated backs all give an improved, secure fit.

New for Spring/Summer 2010 is a range of fun and exciting game equipment specifically designed for the beach. Perfect for those who are looking to have fun in the sun, the three water-friendly beach toys include a lightweight frisbee using the latest technology to make it easy to catch and fold away, a mini turbo ball and an aqua ball.

Aqua Active Collection

Ideal for those who love to swim regularly, take part in aqua fitness classes or enjoy pool-based activities, the Aqua Active range combines unique silhouettes with the latest in sports technology, giving you the freedom to workout in style and with confidence.

Flattering swimsuits and tankinis in clean, fresh colours offer women the ultimate in bust support; with inner bras, power mesh back panels and adjustable side underbands for more definition and lift. The men’s range offers a selection of classic trunks and aquashorts. Many of the suits are made from Speedo’s exclusive 100% chlorine resistant Endurance+ fabric, which ensures garments keep their shape swim after swim.
