Manila's Best Boutiques

Christine, speaking of shopping, any independent boutiques to check out in Manila? It seems like Manila's shopping scene is just all department stores as I remembered. - Eunice

Hi Eunice!

I am glad to share that there are now lots of boutiques, other than the usual department and chain stores that are worth checking out while you are in town. I've come up with a list from the top of my head, and hopefully our kindred shopping souls will be so kind as to share their favorite shops too! Here goes:

Homme et Femme

Univers

Itsie-Bitsie

Bleach Catastrophe

Adora - a department store yes, but is more of like Barneys in the sense that the merchandise is well-curated. Prices range from saving to splurging mode.

Now, while these areas are technically inside a department store, they cater to a more fashion aware crowd who want stylish clothes, shoes and accessories without spending too much for them.

SM Fashion Forum - home to blogger fave Jeffrey Campbell shoes, Fashion Forum also carries trendy Ali Ro and BB Dakota, as well as more classic lines from Max & Cleo and Donna Morgan. It's like a one stop shop for day to night dressing practically! Daughter & mom can shop together and they'll both walk off happy with their purchases.

The Ramp at Crossings - carries homegrown labels like Willow, Cole Vintage, Faith Hope Love, United Pop and Anthology Shoes among a host of other well-priced local designs.

Culte Femme in Rustans -

To be continued! Dear Readers, if you know of fabulous little boutiques in the metro, please feel free to add to the list!
