Whenever I cook with limes or lemons, I try to save all the peels and make myself a homemade, all-natural multipurpose cleaner, which I mostly use for our kitchen counter tops. I just mix 1 cup of white vinegar to 1 cup water, put in my lemon or lime peels and store it in a sealed container for 10 days. After 10 days, I transfer the liquid to an empty spray bottle and I've made myself an inexpensive, Eco-friendly cleaner that is safe to use even when my baby is around.
I love lemons so much because they are very useful in cleaning. De-odor the garbage can by grinding up ice cubes with lemon. You can also make lemon juice and put them on stains from tomato or any acidic food. Let dry in a sunny place, then wash as usual.

I don't like dirty sinks! I make sure to tell the helpers to use vinegar when cleaning all our sinks at home. Just soap your sink with soap or whatever it is you normally use, then spray some vinegar all around (not too much). If you want, you can also follow it up with a little hydrogen peroxide (or Agua Oxigenada, available in drug stores). This combination will definitely kill all the bacteria. :)
I hate to see stain usually in the sink and toilet, so i jut use ZOnrox and leave it for a minute then brus it off,Smells clean after..
A bowl of hot water with vanilla or lemon left inside the microwave will loosen those hardened stains.
HOMEMADE GROUT CLEANER
Super easy!!!
7 cups water, 1/2 cup baking soda, 1/3 cup lemon juice and 1/4 cup vinegar - throw in a spray bottle and spray your floor, let it sit for a minute or two... then scrub.
I use to clean the toilet/bathroom floor or even pang mop ng sala ang huling banlaw ng mga damit to save water.
Since we have a stock of baking soda at home (because of all the baking), we use it as an effective mixed with vinegar :)
When cleaning I use vinegar or lemons mixed with water for tough stains. For strong and smelly odors, i use baking soda. :)
when there's a bit of rust on our juicer/kitchen utensils, it's best to use cooking oil to remove them :)
