Doo.Ri

Doori Chung has come a long way - from working out of the basement of her parents’ New Jersey dry-cleaning store to winning the coveted CFDA’s Swarovski Perry Ellis award for womenswear.

This Parsons alumna is best known for draping, gathering, and drooping jersey to perfection. However, with jersey pieces a dime a dozen, or rather "sampu piso" in tiangge stalls and department stores, I deemed it fit that we focus instead on her other, more interesting pieces...

...like this trench dress?
A pretty blouse! I would wear it tucked into a black pencil skirt or with slim black satin pants so that the colors don't look washed out...
...and these tulip skirts that are a softer alternative to skin tight pencil skirts!
