A Walk to the Grocery Store

Let's have a quick respite from all the fashion-y stuff and let me take you on a trip to our neighborhood grocery store. A day in the life of a housewife. Heehee!

I wore my sneakers for a 10 minute leisurely walk...
See the fantastic view from the riverside on my left...
and a park bench behind a construction site on my right. Notice how they covered up the diggings with a nice "green" fence? They use those Christmas greens for wreaths and trimmings and manually weave that through the wire...These little details really do make a difference.
Here's an abandoned dock that was "preserved", just to stay true to the origins of of our community...
I walked past that structure, which will be a sort of mini-coliseum once done, according to the developer...
And there's the store at a distance!
A little out of breath, but ready for some shopping! Grocery shopping that is!
