New First Lady on the Style Bloc: Asma Al Assad

There's no doubt international politics has become more interesting to style watchers these days - thanks to Carla Bruni, and of course, Michelle Obama. If like me, you enjoy seeing what the First Ladies of fashion are wearing, I highly suggest that you add the First Lady of Syria, Asma Al Assad, to your watchlist. She always looks so elegant, chic, and young. Then again, she's only a year older than me, so yeah, she is very youthful! Haha!



Asma Al Assad was born in London on August 11, 1975. She attended university in King's College, London (my Dad's post grad Alma Mater) and pursued a career in investment banking thereafter. Talk about beauty, brains and loads of style!
