Itsie-Bitsie

When Ines Delgado-Prieto opened Itsie-bitsie Boutique in October 2001, a lot of stylish girls I knew made the trek to Malate just to visit her store. I remember Itsie-Bitsie was one of the first to bring in cult jean labels like 7 for All Mankind, the prettiest tops, sun-sational swimwear and the most adorable sequined tunics. It really was a destination in itself, there were always a couple of things in there I wish I could buy, bring home, pack and then take off to some fabulous place .

Described as “the opium den of the hopelessly fashionable” by Harper’s Bazaar Singapore, Itsie-Bitsie never fails to delight and inspire, with its well-curated selection of smart casual and resort wear, sourced and personally handpicked by Ines, from all over the world. I know this for a fact, because I've run into her while doing her buying rounds in New York during Market season.

This month, check out their Resort 2011 arrivals:

Love the bohemian vibe of these Indian inspired kirti dress and sandals.
The metallic tote is a fresh touch. A great beach cover up and
overall a great dress for lazy weekend brunches!

Love this too! Larina dress from Velvet by Graham & Spencer.

Itsie-Bitsie carries OndadeMar, a Colombian line of swimwear that I've only seen in Anthropologie and Shopbop. I have an Ondademar one-piece, it's a bit pricey, but super worth it! The design and material is just amazing!

And! Make sure to drop by Itsie-Bitsie often, because with deliveries of merchandise every few weeks, you are bound to discover something new and fresh each time you visit!
