Hi-Precision Debuts Cancer Screening Test

I lost my paternal grandfather and recently, my friend Patty to cancer, so when my friend Mel Ongsue-Lee of Hi-Precision Diagnostics shared their new cancer screening test with me, the same one used by Angelina Jolie in 2013, I just had to tell you all about it in an earlier blog post

But there is no better way to help spread word about this breakthrough test than on CNN Philippines.

In this exclusive interview with CNN Philippines, Dr. Jon Atacador introduced the Myriad myRisk Hereditary Cancer test which covers eight different cancers: endomitral, ovary, gastric, pancreatic, colorectal, prostate, melanoma and breast — which is the number one [cancer] in the Philippines.

Taking this test allows a person to lower the risk of cancer by avoiding cancer causing substances, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and working closely with one's doctor.

After all, knowledge is the first step in taking control of our health and managing our quality of life.

In other words, an ounce of prevention is always better than a pound of cure.
